About the grant:

The Islamic Bank Scholarship Program is actually a collection of six different scholarship programmes. It includes scholarships for bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, vocational training and scholarships for least developed member countries.
To achieve the goal of offering maximum scholarships, the Islamic Development Bank has cooperated with top and reputable universities, ministries of higher education in member countries, and international development institutes. These partnerships have made the creation of such a platform possible where the focus is on building the capacity of students and making future leaders to achieve the highest development index for their countries.

The Islamic Bank Scholarship provides financing as follows:

Tuition fees are free.
Round trip airline tickets.
monthly salary.
Free accommodation.
Medical Insurance.

Specializations offered in the scholarship:

1 – Medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, medical laboratory, microbiology, public health, nutrition, health services management, biomedicine, medical technology, veterinary medicine, chemistry, biology, biotechnology and related fields.
2- Engineering: civil, mechanical, chemical, electrical, cadastral, urban planning,
3- Agriculture and forestry
4- Industrial Technologies
5- Computer science, information technology, telecommunications, electronics and related fields
6- Law, media, journalism, political science, entrepreneurship, commerce and commerce
7- Education, psychology, learning, education policy and international development

Important notes:

You do not need a language certificate when applying for a mandatory entry.
There is no fee when applying.

Conditions for applying for the scholarship:

If the candidates are from non-Muslim countries, they must be Muslims.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or they must be enrolled in one of the top public universities in their home countries.
Candidates must have a score of at least 70% in their high school or bachelor’s degree while applying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
A certified translation in English or French must be submitted for all documents if the original is in another language.
Candidates must hold a relevant degree from the specified list of degree programs while applying for a master’s degree programme.
The candidate must have a relevant PhD degree and two years of relevant research experience while applying for the Post-Doc programme.
The applicant must not be holding any other scholarship at the time of application and while studying.
He must be medically fit and willing to undergo medical examinations after selection.
