About Nusa Putra University

Nusa Putra University was established based on the Decree of the Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 108/ KPT/ I/ 2018 concerning the Change in the Form of the Nusa Putra Technology College in Sukabumi to become Nusa Putra University in Sukabumi, Indonesia, which is managed by the Nusa Putra Sukabumi Education Foundation. Precisely on Friday, February 2, 2018, Nusa Putra University was officially established. Nusa Putra University is located in Sukabumi Regency, West Java, and currently has 2 Faculties with 10 Undergraduate Study Programs (S1), 2 Diploma Study Programs (D3), and 1 Master Program (S2). The number of students studying at Nusa Putra University has reached 3,000 and already has alumni who are well-known throughout Indonesia and various countries.

About International Relationship Office

The International Relationship Office (IRO) is a unit under the vice-chancellor in the academic field engaged in internationalization. This unit plays a role in bridging the student community and foreign lecturers who want to gain more experience while at Nusa Putra University. Our goal is to support the vision shared by Nusa Putra University and become a superior higher education institution that surpasses National and International standards in the fields of social science and technology.

Scholarship Program

Education is an essential aspect of human resources development because education is a vehicle or one of the instruments used to free people from underdevelopment, ignorance, and poverty. Nusa Putra University pays close attention to this by offering scholarships for 1000 public children for Indonesian citizens. Today the University offers scholarships to various parts of the world for undergraduate and Master’s programs.

Berlian Scholarship

Berlian scholarship only gets tuitions fee while studying at Nusa Putra University with four years for undergraduate (S1) and two years for masters (S2). You can see the programs here.

The Selection Process

Administrative Selection

• Administrative selection is carried out by checking the completeness of documents and other requirements.
• Examination of document completeness and other requirements as referred to in point a is carried out in the following stages :

1. The administrative selection team verifies and validates the registration documents’ completeness and suitability based on the stipulated requirements. 
2. Applicants whose documents do not meet the requirements are declared not having passed the administrative selection.
3. Applicants whose documents meet the requirements aredeclared to have passed the administration.   
4. Applicants who are declared to have passed the administrative selection are determined as participants in the Interview Stage Selection . 
5. Information on applicants who pass or fail the administrative selection will be sent via email

General Interview

• Before the interview, the verifier appointed by the selection team verifies the documents submitted by the participants
• Participants cannot participate in the interview selection if the documents submitted are:
  1. not following the requirements set; or
  2. there is an element of document falsification.
• Participants who falsify data or documents cannot re-register for all scholarship programs.
• Participants take an online interview
• Interviews were conducted by a team of interviewers who were appointed by a selection team
• Participants who are declared not passing the interview selection can register in the following year.

Interview ( Study Program )

• At this stage, prospective students have followed and passed the general interview
• These interviews were conducted following the fields taken, and interviews were conducted with the heads of each study program
• Participants will be asked about knowledge and insights about the field to be taken  
• Participants will be asked about the seriousness and commitment if they are accepted at Nusa Putra University.

Placement test: 13th May 2024 to 17th May 2024.
Awardees Announcement: 29th May 2024 to 3rd June 2024.
Student Permit and E-Visa processing: 05th June 2024 to 22nd July 2024.
Travelling to Indonesia: 22nd July 2024 to 02nd September 2024.
Orientation and Opening days: 09th September 2024 to 14th September 2024.
Starting Classes for 2024-2025: 16th September 2024.

Genusian Scholarship

The Genusian Scholarship is a full scholarship intended for undergraduate (S1) international students and Master’s (S2) students. You can see the programs here.
